1. Certificate, Marriage - This is the Marriage Certificate of Deborah Potts, daughter of Isaac and Martha Bolton Potts, and Isaac Williams, Jr., son of Isaac and Phebe Williams. It is on parchment and dated May 4, 1815. It is a Quaker Marriage Certificate signed by several members of the Potts family. The two were married at Mulberry Street Meeting in Philadelphia.

2. Diploma - Framed Bachelors Degree in Medicine of Jonathan Potts (1745-1781), for the "College of Phiadelpihnses, 1768," in Latin on parchment. Jonathan Potts was a member of the first medical class of ten graduated in America, and was appointed a Medical Director in the Revolutionary War. He studied in Edinburgh with Benjamin Rush, and then entered the Medical School of the College of Philadelphia. The class of 1768 was the first medical commencement in America.

Documents, Charge of Will - This is a collection of documents related to the Estate of John Potts in account with Samuel Potts, Executor. a - A detailed document listing items of the estate of John Potts with signatures of the Potts children (bound together with thread). b -Is a half sheet written on both sides. The front side reading, "To Ruth Potts for Sundry, Household furniture, plate." c -Is a quarter sheet, written on both sides. The front side, top says, "Amount Brought Over 2,851 pounds 2 shillings 5 1/2 pence." d - Is a quarter sheet, written on both sides. On the back side, near bottom is written, "18708 pounds 3 shillings 3 pence." B, C and D once fit together as one sheet. e - Is a full sheet, written on both sides. The front side starting with the date February 26, 1770. f - Is a full sheet, written on both sides. On the back side is written, "amount forward 6814 pounds 7 shillings 7 pence." These documents are related to the account records of Samuel Potts' handling of the estate of his father in conjunction with the Will and other items from his estate.

14. Indenture - This Indenture is for the mills, lands and tenements and rights of the Manatawny and mill race for the lower mill at Pottsgrove, shared with the upper mill. Both mills were once owned by John Potts, Sr. The mill location is from "Southwest corner of the Brewhouse on the South side of Queen Street, thence along the westerly side of the aforesaid lot south eleven degrees west, three hundred feet to the northerly side of south street thence along the side of said street south seventy nine degrees east, sixty feet to the westerly side of Hanover Street thence along the side of said street south eleven degrees west twenty four perches and five tenths to the Schuylkill River at low water mark." The indenture is witnessed by John Potts, Jr. and signed by David Potts, Mary Potts (wife of David), and Samuel Potts. The original seals and ribbon are on the parchment.

15. Indenture - This 1760 linen Indenture is between Jacob Early and Jacob Rhoads, both of Amity in Berks County, for the construction of a dam on the Manatawny Creek for a paper mill. The indenture is seven and three-eighths inches by twelve inches, and bears both signatures with wax seals, plus the signatures of witnesses, John Daniel Froelich and Johann Hilizz Lambaniel. Piece A has the signatures of John Daniel Froelich and Johann Hilizz Lambaniel, 1760. Piece B has the signatures of Samuel Rhoads and John Koplin,1785.

Indenture - This parchment Indenture made January 30, 1771 between the executor of the estate of John Potts, Samuel Potts, and Jacob Levengood is for one part of adjoining tracts of land situate in Amity and Douglass Townships, Berks County for the sum of 315 pounds, 5 shillings and 8 pence. The land is situated "beginning at the Manatawny Creek, a corner of Henry Egle's land, thence by the same north seventy-four degrees west sixty-four perches to a hickory bush thence by Peter Yocum's land," etc. The indenture is signed by Samuel Potts and Thomas Rutter in witness of Martha Rutter and Jonathan Ellis on May 28, 1771. History of ownership of the land, from 1705 to 1745, is on the back of the deed. The land was owned by the Rutter, Savage and Potts families.

19. Indenture - This vellum land indenture, dated February 20, 1779, is between physician Samuel Flower (through his attorney, Daniel Williams,) and ironmasters Thomas Rutter and Samuel Potts for one-twelfth ownership of Reading Furnace. The Indenture is also signed by Thomas McKean, as Chief Justice of Pennsylvania. McKean also signed the Declaration of Independence.

John mortgaged 1/6 part of the iron forge, slitting mill, grist mill, saw mill and a parcel in Aston Thornbury and Middletown Townships (by estimation 129 acres) to the Calverts. Witnesses are Jos. Gibbons and Jno.Thomson. The parchment indenture is signed by Daniel Calvert and Elizabeth Calvert.
